Japanese wooden percussion and bamboo percussion
hyōshigi: Japanese wooden percussion
hyōshigi is a simple Japanese clappers(tools for signaling), consisting of two pieces of hardwood often connected by a thin rope. 


Japanese wooden percussion : naruko
Naruko is a type of tool that makes a sound by attaching a piece of wood to a wooden board.
Originally a farming tool for bird protection. It can be used as a musical instrument.


bamboo percussion .. kokiriko
Kokiriko is a bamboo clapper.
it is a folk instrument used to sing and dance Japanese folk songs (Kokiriko dance).


Japanese wooden percussion / sanba
Sanba  is made of three pieces of hard wood loosely connected with a thin rope. 
The player holds it between fingers, and strums it with fingers of the other hand. 


bamboo percussion / yotsudake
Yotsudake is a bamboo clapper. 
Made of quarter bamboo, and is often featured in traditional Ryukyu- dance.
